Terms of Use
These terms govern your access to and use of the Lucid News API ("the API"). By subscribing to or using the API, you agree to them.
For every story and every source you display to end users, you must show the source link to the original article. Attribution is a condition of the license: if a story or source is shown, its source link goes with it. Do not strip, hide, or obscure source links.
The API is licensed for building end-user-facing products. You may not resell, redistribute, syndicate, or sublicense the raw feed or bulk data, and you may not republish the feed as a data product of your own. The data is for use inside your application, not for resale as data.
The AI-generated titles and summaries are the original content of Lucid News, licensed to you for display with attribution. You may not represent them as your own reporting or original journalism, and you may not remove or alter attribution to pass them off as your work.
Image URLs returned by the API point to images hosted by third-party publishers. Lucid News passes these URLs through only and grants you no rights in the images. You are responsible for any image rights and for honoring each publisher's restrictions on use. If you display these images, you do so at your own risk and under your own arrangements with the publishers.
Rate limits and plan quotas are enforced through RapidAPI. You may not circumvent, evade, or attempt to exceed them, including by sharing keys, rotating accounts, or routing traffic to defeat metering.
The API is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Lucid News does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of the data, and is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the API.
Lucid News may change, add to, or discontinue the API at any time. The
/v1 prefix is the compatibility boundary: additive changes (new
endpoints and new response fields) may ship within /v1, and a
breaking change would be introduced under a new version prefix.
Lucid News may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms. On termination you must stop using the API and the data obtained from it.
